Lucy prefers natural treatment for her skin - 2007-11-16
Lucy Liu thinks drinking a lot of water is the main secret to keep a shining and healthy skin, not facial treatment. The actress told InStyle magazine, “I drink a lot of water, and I’ve never had coffee. I think caffeine can be really bad for your skin. And I don’t get facials, ever.” She continued, “I think they damage your skin. People are getting peels and dermabrasion, and anything with the word ‘abrasion’ doesn’t work for me. I also think a lot of plastic surgery hurts your skin.” But Lucy suggests a little acupuncture, as she believes is a way to keep a person’s balance. “It’s preventative medicine. You go in once a month, and you get a little check-up so you’re regulated. It keeps you healthy,” Liu said.

It seems Lucy Liu is developing a new interest, as she has been seen reading "The First Hebrew Primer” during the filming of "Cashmere Mafia” in New York City. Liu was cracking a guide to understand biblical Hebrew. The actress was previously bonded with kabbalah devotee Demi Moore at the ZacPosen show during NY Fashion Week. A looker said, "Lucy is so nice and friendly on the set and always knows her lines, so instead of studying the script, she reads her 'Hebrew Primer.'"

Lucy Liu and Selma Blair will be some of the famous faces of the new GAP ad campaing. The stars will model the 'Classics Redefined' line of the apparel giant, shot by the lens of popular photographer Annie Leibovitz. Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker, actor Liev Schreiber and American musician John Mayer will also appear in the campaign. Leibovitz has fame of controversial for her photo style, including, John Lennon nude for the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, Kate Winslet submerged in a tank of water and a naked pregnant Demi Moore.
